The 46th International Apimondia Conference was opened in Montreal, Canada from September 8-12, 2019, at the Palais des Congrès. Apimondia is the largest international beekeeping gathering in the world. The theme for the conference“Working together within agriculture, Canada’s answer to sustainable beekeeping”The congress covers the fields of world apiculture and agricultural science, including world apiculture economy bee biology bee health bee pollination bee feeding technology and quality apiculture rural apiculture expansion international honey market honey fraud apiculture and agricultural expansion and other interdisciplinary fields. Apimondia is the largest international beekeeping gathering in the world. This years’ gathering has brought together more than 6,000 speakers from 80 countries from around the world, meanwhile the conference has 940 booths, covering a net area of 8460 square meters.
