On May 16th, “World Bee Day Celebration in North of China Area is opened in Beijing by Apicultural Science Association of China (ASAC) and the Miyun People’s government. The State Secretary of Slovenia, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food of the Republic of Slovenia, Head of Forestry Service and EU Coordination and International Affairs Service,and other four people attend the opening ceremoney and the activities. H.E.Dr.Joze Podgorsek, the State Secretary of Slovenia and Prof. Wu Jie, the president of Apicultural Science Association made an energetic and passionate speech.

More than 500 people from apiculture, inluding experts, scholars, representatives, students，beekeepers and friends from all walks of life, participated in the activities. The theme of the event is “Bees make better life for urban and rural”. The aim of the WBD is “Care for bees, Protect the earth”. The celebration and activities are held from May 16th 2019 to May 20th 2019, which is co-hosted by Apicutral Society Association of China (ASAC), Beijing Gardening and Greening Bureau and Beijing Miyun District People’s government.
